A brief history on the Saucony DXN

The love child between the notorious athletic footwear brand that is Saucony, and iconic long-legged, moustache wielding Kiwi man Rod Dixon... We witness the birth of the DXN trainer, a creation curated through months of rigorous development and obsessive testing, during the 80s of course, this sleek runner provided the spring in the step of Rod in his triumph in the 1983 New York marathon, in which he managed to come back at 26-mile marker to win the race by literally 9 seconds, now that's impressive Rod... I imagine those sneakers helped to.

Three decades later we still witness this classic living on, and Rod is to. He's now aiming to encourage people throughout the globe that children need to be healthy... Through encouragement, empowerment & inspiration, the Kids Marathon Foundation is providing a wealth of information to those who wish to earn the true willpower in nutrition & health, leading to happier more fulfilling lives. We salute you Rod Dixon.
