As much as this blog post is about our surf and skate night, it’s actually more so about Chris’ final party with us as an employee of the Priory. So, we decided to hold another night to cater for the skate and surf loving residents of Bridlington, while also tying it in with our favourite little Ewok’s leaving do. It all started with the shop closing to be altered for a skate related ambience with our stock being utilised as decor, as soon as the shop was ready, pints were poured and we skated; this didn’t last too long as we became too intoxicated to function on a board (although, a shoutout is needed as Ben Kirby landed a Tre on a mini cruiser, and that's after a few drinks). The night entailed of drinks, surf/skate films, music and a Chris related prank, and I'd say that the night went down a treat for our local friends and family.
This post is short and sweet but is also a dedication to our long serving member, it’s a shame more photos weren’t taken that night, but I guess it’s because we were too busy drinking… and trying to duct tape you to a pole, adios Christopher.
Grafter Gilly hard at work on the bar.
Does the Dane & Bruce deck remind you of Trump? No? Just me then... Side note, Dory has never looked so chill.
Do not be afraid if you encounter this man, his moustache is not a reflection of his personality.
I was actually in this image... sat beside him on a chair... cold stare into the camera... but he looked much better on his own... there's some form of relation to Pablo Escobar with this... poetic.
Chris held a seance.
Home Alone plotting.
Artsy... maybe you could think of a metaphor for this? Actually don't do that, I hate that shit.
We won't judge you if you wear Thrasher when you can't skate.
