Fjallraven took inspiration for the design of the Kanken bag from the increasing reports of back pain in children from prolonged shoulder bag wear. As a result, Fjallraven's Åke Nordin took upon himself to create a lightweight and durable backpack with essential space that's suffice for school kids. The Kanken ranged was officially released in 1978 in collaboration with the Swedish Guide and Scout Association, and nearly 30 years later, the backpack has restored a healthy balance for storage and comfort. This model has space for a 13" laptop, with its padded internal sleeve, helping organise your items for maximum efficiency. A front pouch with zip closure and two side pockets are also incorporated to store your smaller essentials without mixing with other items in the main compartment. The padded shoulder straps help maintain a comfortable feel when on the move, and general prolonged used. Two handles are situated at the top of the bag with a clip fastening to hold them together. Completed with Fjallraven's iconic branding, located on the front of the bag.
